Which O2 sensors are you using? I have 55k miles on my 2001 and thought I'd change the sensors this weekend. When I bought the Bosch replacements at Auto Zone the plug ends were not correct. They have a general purpose Bosch sensor - but I would have to fabricate my own connector.
I could be wrong on this,, but I have found that parts house application (given the correct) plug is the same sensor as the factory sensor. From all the factory sensors on many makes of cars,, all had the BOSCH stamping, even the discount sensors. If Bosch is making all the sensors the discount would be the same as the factory part, given the correct plug. You probably can cut the wires and change the plug,, but I won' t due that, due to the heat from the exhaust system and my concern for shorting out. Just make sure you have the same "type " sensor. This is determined by the number of wires. Good luck,, and have fun.. 99 Nassau Blue
