Upper radiator shroud?????
Hey everyone, I'm having clearance issues with my high flow duct and my new heat extractor hood before I get back to the body shop. The duct keeps rubbing and is going to put a hole into the hood. 
My question is, I removed the upper radiator shroud and do I need to put this back on or can I leave it off? With it off the duct seems to clear the hood. Any suggestions would really help.

I have seen may cars leave off the upper shroud, I would not see why it would cause a problem. I looks better on IMHO, but do harm, I don't think so. Good luck

If you leave the upper cover off, I recommend using some black foam rubber to seal off the area between the front shroud and AC condensor and the radiator. The air will escape through the top vise going through the radiator. If your engine templ start to get high in traffic, thats the problem.
