How restrictive are flowmaster mufflers?

How restrictive are flowmaster mufflers?
I heard that flowmaster mufflers are one of the most restrictive aftermarket exhaust you could buy, but how restrictive are they? More restrictive than stock, or z06 exhaust? Hard to believe, it sounds so good.

I've had a set on my C5 for a couple months now and really like the sound. I don't think there are big gains to be had over the stock exhaust anyway (on a basically stock engine) so I'm not too concerned if they flow the same as stock or 3-4 hp less than the more pricey systems.

I had them on my vette for a couple weeks, just wasn't loud enough, especially for dual flows. I'd run flows on other vehicles and they sounded loud as heck, I was a bit disappointed with the 80 series for the vettes (80 series are their loudest but aren't that loud on our cars)

Bought mine with Flowmasters installed. Previous owner did a nice job, welding them on and all that.
They are kinda "tame" sounding compared to other model flowmasters on muscle cars and of the like. I was wondering for a short time as to whether they were "real" flowmasters!
