Default 1/2 quart or not?
I`m going to be running hot laps on a 2 mi road course with 11 turns. Have heard it is good to add 1/2 quart oil. My question is if I add the oil will it hurt to drive the 200 miles home since I will not be able to drain it out till I get home?

Get yourself one of those pumps that remove oil through the dipstick. But I doubt after your road course run, you will be a 1/2 quart up. Most likey you will need to add oil.

I've always put a full 7 quarts in for daily use with no issues.

It is actually recommended to add a Full quart more for racing. It will not hurt you in any way

Yep, says so in the owners manual to add 1 qt for racing do to slushing on turns and banks...
