I just purchased some long tubes from LG and am wondering what the best header to head gaskets are, only want to do this once . I used some copper on my 66 SS chevelle and had good luck, any first hand thoughts?

I just installed a set of kooks, and I reused the stock gaskets.
I just installed a set of Kooks and I ended up using the gaskets
that came with the headers. I tried a new set of the stock LS6
gaskets, but during the install, I noticed the GM gasket blocked
about 1/8" of the top of the exhaust port! ( ported heads)

I installed a set of QTP's. Barry sent me the GM f-body (Camaro) gasket with the headers rather than the Vette gaskets. These are perfect for headers as the ports are round and the gaskets will match the header flange really well. You may want to take a look at them. They are the same construction as the Vette gasket, but the shape is more suited to a header in my opinion.
