There is another torx on a rod a bit further through the access hole for up and down. Be careful when you reach the end of the thread. I have heard that the plastic gears break easily.

Is it the "cover" that's off alignment? Or the whole light?
The cover has four screws with plastic end caps (one under each corner).
If you remove the black bezel, then remove the 2 torx screws on the back of the cover (and one on each side), you'll see what I mean.
Leave the light closed for the 2 in the back. The ones on the side are accessible when the lights open.

Look further in ... there is another gear just like the one you see now.
FWIW, I use 7mm socket to turn these ... the torx could strip if it's at it's end.
Why are you adjusting? Did you replace the bulbs? Sometimes, they need a minor adjustment, but if it's a lot ... close the light and check to see if the bulb is seated properly.

Yeah, be careful. I didn't break mine, but because it's so hard to see & reach, I over-adjusted it & backed it out too far. It then wouldn't move! I ended up bringing it in to the dealer & it took the tech 1 hour to remove the entire headlight assembly & fix it. He got pissed & said that whom ever installed the HID's (it was me) did this...Well, he got over it after saying it shouldn't be under warranty....What a d!ck head!
