Default Wheel Size Spec's

Does anyone know the spec's on the 2004 C5 18" rear rims, offset, etc?
I installed the 13.5 Baer Eradispeed rotors with the stock calipers on my car. The stock wheels fit fine. Both sets of after market wheels I've attemped to buy the spoke of the wheels hits the caliper, not even close, like a 1/4" overlap.
I explained to both wheel manufactures the set up I have and they still have not got it right.
If I knew the stock wheel dimensions maybe this would help.

Thanks

I keep a spec sheet that I update now and again and I have 58mm offset listed. Now, disclaimer is that # was taken off the forum at some time and may not be 100% correct.

As important, if not more important than offset though is the spoke design. It's really spoke clearance.

You can have plenty of offset, but if the spoke to hub-face distance is the same it will not matter.

What aftermarket wheels are you looking at? Chrome? Motorsports etc?

Thanks for your help!

The wheel/tire package I'm looking at now are the 18"x9.5 front & 19"x11 rear, Z06 Chrome Motorsport wheels from West Coast Corvette.

I called them to inqiure and the left me a message with said
(56 front & 61 rear)

What do you think?

The spoke design is what is critical. The offset is the hub surface to the wheel center. The brake clearance is the hub surface to the inner edge of the spoke, which can be held the same regardless of offset.

I just saw you have stock calipers...I'm very surprised to hear you are having trouble. The aftermarket wheels should clear stock calipers with no issue. Dumb question but are you sure everything is on correctly?

The kit comes with a caliper relocation bracket for the rear. I went from the stock diameter rotors to the Baer Eradispeed 2 piece 13.5" rotors. The relocation must kick the caliper out which is causing the issue.

Ahhh, that makes sense.

Check with Baer and see if they have a template. Most aftermarket brake suppliers have a template you can print, glue to cardboard and cutout and use to test clearance on aftermarket wheels.

if you get this you could ask the vendors to try it for you and save yourself some anguish and time.

Sorry I cannot be of more help.
