[B]NEED HELP QUICK - Vinci Tuner Error!!!![/B]
While programming my car, my brand new Vinci tuner suddenly reports an error and says it can no longer communicate with my car!
The car will not start, I get all sorts of error messages in the DIC and the tuner no longer communicates with the car.
I could not get hold of Crane Cams nor Vinci Performance so for now I have the battery disconnected in hopes of resetting the PCM.
Please if anyone can help please message me asap.

My system went down when my tuner was trying to read my computer the first time. He did something under the hood, but I am not sure what.
Cross post over onto LS1Tech.com, Roger and Joe Vinci are on there more frequently. Also, put "Vinci/Crane" in the title. There is someone there with the handle mmrr or something like that who knows Roger and may be able to contact him at home.

Thanks. I messaged mrr23 and he has been very helpful. He got in contact with both Roger and Joe. My battery doesn't seem to be strong enough so I'm charging it up now and will try again in the morning.

Well, looks like it wasn't the battery after all. Looks like the program that the dealer installed when they did the column lock recall last fall is causing the problem.
Had to have the car towed to the dealer to be reflashed and send the tuner back to be modified for the column lock recall parameters.
Will keep you all informed as this progresses. Sure hope I get my baby back tomorrow.
Anyone with a mid year want to trade?
