Default C5 Predator Programmer for 97

Thinking about getting a C5 Predator Tunable Performance Programmer for my A4 1997 Coupe. Is there any sig. improvement in this product? I feel that things are off and not generating the power I should be...
I have no Mod's yet but going to add on to it the Blackwing & Granatelli Mass air flow sensor. Which is another question that I have should I get the Corvette LS1 - Black w/Cold Air Tuning? Or will a standard one without the Cold Air Tuning work for me?
Thanks!

Predator won't work on 1997 and 1998 C5's.

wow thanks for the news ... how about the Mass air filer Cold Air Tuning?
Should I get with or without the "w/Cold Air Tuning" from Granatelli because apparently there is two types 350112-C and the 350112 (without)

Forget the granatelli MAF sensor, any power gains are artificially induced by leaning your a/f ratios, many times causing more problems than they cure.Lately there have been a number of hypertechIIIs in the parts for sale section at super low prices, that and a t-stat and you'll pick up more than any MAF.

No personal experience but I've heard the same thing about the Granatelli. I know they're not well thought of around here!

I made the mistake of purchasing a Granatelli MAF. It will cause your car to ping/knock at low RPM's, and it will throw lean error codes on both right and left banks. I also have an aftermarket intake, which, because of its design, creates a ton of turbulance, which the de-screened Granatelli simply can't handle. The screen in the front of your stock MAF is there for a reason, as is the air foil on the backside, to control turbulance. Also, from what I have read, the stock MAF should easily support engines producing up to and over 450 horses. I re-installed my stock MAF and all of the problems the Granatelli created went away.

Since they cost about the same, I would spend the money on a good hand-held tuner instead.
