need 4 quarts (takes 3 3/4 or so quarts) for the tranny and 2 quarts (takes 1 3/4 about) for the diff. the tranny uses the 3/8 ratchet drive and the diff uses an allen wrench, not sure of the size 5/16 or so i think,

Did the diff fluid on my '98 recently and used Redline 75W90 with the additive already included. A fluid pump is helpful and inexpensive.
I understand that a full flush of the automatic tranny will take about 12 quarts as opposed to 5 if you only drop the pan. I plan to use the new Dexron VI, and do a full flush ... its not something you have to do very often. IMHO.
