McLeod clutch install / removal - HELP!
This appears to be a PITA!
I see 6 bolts, 4 of which are incredibly inaccessible. They are waaaay up in the firewall, with absolutely no room or clearance to get any sort of wrench or ratchet up in there.
So my question is, to those who have remove a McLeod twin disk before, is there any way possible to sneak it out through the inspection cover opening? (i dont see how)...
Or, what is the procedure for removing the bellhousing cover. Do I need to lower the front cradle or something crazy like that?!?
That big silver bellhousing, inbetween the camera and clutch in your picture... that needs to come out for me I think. My clutch does not fit up into that opening that your Exedy slipped up into. The McLeod is too wide to fit. Unless I am missing something, or there is some trick to it, which is what I am wondering from those who have done a McLeod twin disk before.
