A/C control display

As on many earlier C5s, my A/C display has dimmed to almost non-visible.

Does anyone know a way to fix these? Is there a quick take-apart-&-fix trick to this one?

Ours died too. I bought a new one from Fichtner and put it in myself. It took about 2 hours and is not hard to do. The center console has to come off and then there are 2 screws on the control mudule. Plug 'n' play. There should be plenty of posts on this if you do a search. If you cant find any, PM me and I'll give you more help.
