I just got the check engine light so I deceided to check the codes, expecting the 02 sensor code that everyone has with header and I found the following:
P0430 TWC System Low Efficiency Bank 2-A (H, C)
U1096 Loss of Communications with IPC (H)
U1000 Loss of Communication Undetermined -RFA (H)
U1016 Loss Of Communication with PCM (No SOH Message Received -RFA (H)
U1096 Loss Of Communication with IPC (No SOH Message Received -RFA (H)
B0361 Left Actuator Feedback short to GND (H)
B0441 Left Actuator Out of Range (H)
Did you tie all wire harnesses away from the headers? I'd say triple-check all your wiring and connectors, reset the DIC, and see what codes return. Hopefully it's something simple and not something such as a burned harness.
With exception of the first one, they all look like history codes. I'd clear those out and direct attention to the P0430 code.
I agree!........I had several "loss of comm" codes the last time I disconnected my batt during my maf swap.
Try re-checking all connections as previously suggested and clear all codes and see what you get.
Be sure that all connections, especially your grounds are in good order and also make sure you don`t have any connections/wires touching headers/pipes, etc.
Any idea what that means? TWC low effiency? Is this the rear o2s?
Thanks
Pete
Yes. This is also the code that brought up the check engine light.
It's likely due to using high flow cats or no cats. (you didn't say what system you installed).
This TWC system (three way catalyst) code happens when there is insufficient difference in readings between the front and rear 02 sensor. This code exists basically to tell you your catalytic converter has lost it's efficiency. So, altering the stock cats can and will alter the sensor differential readings, and possibly set off this code (or P0420..same thing, just the left side exhaust).
I would reset it and see if it happens again. You may also get the P0420 code too. If it continues to be a problem, the surefire way to cure it would be to disconnect the rear 02 sensors and run sims instead.
The U codes are nothing to be concerned about, and likely occured when you disconnected the battery.

You can also have your rear 02s edited out with PCM programming as another option for dealing with a rear 02 sensor problem following the installation of headers and high flow cats.

Many thanks, I have reset all the codes and none have come back (so far) but I should look into a programer. Does the Predator have the ability to tune out the rear 02s?

Through a custom tune. I don't know if the newer models can do so without a custom tune.
For what you are going to spend on the Predator, it is probably better to have someone local edit out the rears with tuning software of some sort. LS1 edit or other.
The car should be tuned after the headers anyway, so this should be easy enough.

This is what I did and I would recommend it over the o2 sim route.
