Had a mod day a month ago and lowered my 98 coupe on stock bolts. Or at least the front. When we went to do the rear bolts, they were already down to 3 threads. I can't figure out why the back is still relatively high.
We did 4 other cars and all of them dropped without any problems. But mine. Mine looks funny in back with a big gap and the nose point down a little too much for my liking.
Everything looks fine. The shocks look normal, etc.
Why isn't it lowering properly? What am I missing?
well in a month's time the car should have settled by now (though mine took about 3 months to get all the way down). Did you look at the gap right after jacking it up because then it would look higher and again it would need some time to settle.
I have heard that everyone's car is different and the amount the car drops can be different. If there are only 3 threads left and the car still looks too high then you might have to cut the bushing and try longer bolts.
