Default LS2 manifolds.

someone on EBAY has a bunch of LS2 manifolds for sale for $220.00 ea. Is the LS2 manifolddifferent from a c5 intake? Would it be worth bolting onto a 99 intake, exhaust, cam car?

First of all, forum vendor Fred Beans is selling them for $199 right now. Secondly, I have yet to see proof - empirical or other - that demonstrates that you will gain anything with an LS2 intake. What I've read so far indicates you might lose power with it on an LS1/LS6. Thirdly, my understanding is that you'll need to swap a few other components as well: LS2 Fuel rails, LS2 Injector O-Rings, 90mm LS2 Throttle body and the correct harness plug for the TB as it's different on LS1/LS6 (or rewire per the instructions posteds here earlier).

I think it is safe to say the LS2 manifold is to be avoided for NA motors. Maybe with a blower?

There have been numerous reports of hp gains with the LS2 90mm intake and TB on TT and larger CI cars. Personally, I can't see the point with a TT setup.. If you need more power just turn up the boost.
