My water pump took a poop 
Is this a job for a pro? I have changed one on my LT1 but with this LS1 being aluminum , Is there anything special that you should know 
sorry for the spelling in the title, the hands dont always do what the head says, this could be a problem if i do this job

Water pumps on these are fairly easy to change. Being aluminum is nothing to worry about, just don't over tighten the bolts. A few hoses, the belt, and 6 bolts. You may have to move something on the left to get to the bolts, can't remember. Mine is all a part right now, I can't look at it to tell. If you have done one on a LT1 I'm guessing these won't be a problem for you. Just look for the 6 bolts, 3 each side, if you can see them you can probably swap it with no problem.
