Dewitt installed on Procharger D1SC with stock thermostat. At first I saw no improvement. I changed the coolant to 70 distilled water to 30 coolant and a bottle of Water Wetter. This at 110 temps dropped from 230 to 218ish. Then changed to a 180 thermostat and lower fan temps. Dropped temp to 204 at 110. Below88 - 95 it stays at 192-196 in traffic and lower on the highway. In addition my A/C is working better. I still believe I could get it cooler with more air flow. All but 1/2 inch of my bottom opening is blocked with the intercooler and slanted foward radiator. I have always had open flog light vents, but I an mocking up a licence filler tunnel to increase air flow at least when moving right onto the A/C condenser/radiator. I hope to report later in the week how that does as temps are unfortunately at 115 in Phoenix this week. Brian
I put the Tom Dewitt radiator in my C5 with a Maggie and it works wonders. We are having temps in the 100's and my car runs 190 to 195. At night I'm see temps of 170 to 180. I couldn't ask for any more than that. Thanks Tom for a great product. Wish I would have done this a few years back. Thanks again Tom. Gary
The last response I got from Tom was the EOCs were in transit from his supplier. He told me this on or about July 15th. I have not heard anything since that. We are almost at 7 weeks from when he said 4-5 weeks on June 9. I can't wait much longer...

Yep, I know what you mean. I'm in no big hurry YET. I'm trying to schedule some work around this, would hate to have to tear it down twice.
Thanks for the update, maybe Tom will chime in soon with a better ETA.
I just called DeWitts and talked to Tom. They have the EOCs in house and are prototyping the first radiator right now. The current plan is to ship out the EOC radiators next week to those of us who have ordered them.
I also asked about the adaptor block and lines. They are still looking at alternatives for this and plan to offer a competitively priced installation package in the future.

I am on the fence right now between the Dewitt and the Ron Davis models but leaning toward supporting the forum vendor.

Great, thanks for the update. I'm not planning on using the EOC right now anyway so I don't need adaptors or lines. I hope the EOC comes with plugs in there though. Any idea what fitting the EOC will have? AN? I will need to find some plugs to keep the dirt out if they don't ship with some kind of plug.

We'll come up with some kind of protective cap for them. The fitting connection will be #8-AN. There seems to be a big push for larger diameter hoses and I think that comes from the competitors worries about too much pressure drop through a cooler that's really too small for the job. I'm guessing, but maybe they are trying to reduce the overall pressure drop by "oversizing" the hoses. It doesn't make sense to have a hose bigger than 1/2" with a flow rate of maybe 1.5 gpm.
The key is the cooler! Put a huge cooler in there with practically no pressure drop and you don't have to even think about the hose size or connection. Our cooler is huge. A seven plate high performance aluminum cooler with low turbs, has 4psi drop at 2 gpm. What I really like is that we built it so the cooler is "centered" in the tank and it reduces the restriction that is common with other coolers.
check this monster out!Sorry, forgot to update...I will be shipping out the EOC order next week. The prototypes came in at 12" on center, instead of the 11.5 they were saposed to be but that's not going to affect anything. I just wanted them to be the same size as the factory toc, which the production ones will be. We will also offer the same seven plate option for our A01A model for the trans cooler with the stock metric port.
As far as the LG supercool goes, nobody is better. Any aluminum radiator with two rows of cooling tubes is going to cool the same as the next guys. I just think if you look at the products closer we stand alone in fit and appearence. The end tanks are press formed, with no fabrication seams to crack and we make them to fit. I also think we are quit a bit lower in the price.

After looking at your last post I do like this setup and I am forwarding this to my mechanic to get his go ahead and then I will be ordering this. Also thanks for your feedback the last several days to my questions as they were very promt and helpful in assisting me as cooling my car will be an issue in San Antonio with FI.
Did the EOC radiators ship out last week as planned?
Thanks,
Mark Forbes
I don't think they did, I have not seen any charges on my card yet, been checking every day. But I think he is getting close He is looking into a stainless braided line and adaptor kit also.
We should be close! I have not seen any charges either.

I would like an OIL Cooler/Radiator combo cuz I do lots of roadracing but I may be having oil pressure issues now and I gotta get that taken care of.
Speaking of oil pressure, i heard you lose some oil pressure with the combos so 2 separate units are better. I also have an LPE TT so I dont know what space problem that presents.
also, like anyone else, I dont want to pay an arm an a leg for the unit and install. For some reason people think that if you have an LPE car it means that you have $$$ coming out my azz
What I'm also very interested to know is what are the warranties on these puppies and does the warranty cover roadracing? I've learned the hard way to check waranties on components. To me a yr warranty on most components isnt worth it.
That is the price for the radiator with the EOC built in. Dewitt's is temporarily not charging any extra for the EOC. The non-EOC radiator and the EOC radiator are currently the same price.
