CLB problem - Ready for the DYNAMITE mod!
I have a '99 FRC. I immediately purchased and installed a CLB in March when I purchased the car. I have had no column lock issues of any kind until today. I started the car with the intention of moving it to the bottom of the driveway (cleaning the garage). I started the car, let the clutch out in reverse, and it stalled. Okay, restart, stalls again. Turn the key on, get "Pull key, wait 10 secs...". Then after waiting I get the "Service column" message. Since the PCM was reflashed, car won't go over 2mph, and stalls.
Do I have a bad CLB?
Should I pull it and try reconnecting the ECL?
Is GM ever going to be forced to fix this Bullsh*t?
I already pulled the BCM fuse, no help.
It seems like a sych issue, but I figured pulling fuse 25 would resynch.
Please help this poor fool who was seduced by a beautiful bod, even though I knew GM products were bad mojo
