Default Turn Signal Bulb

Does anyone have the part number for the light bulb on the front turn signal? It is for the right side, not sure if that makes any difference or not. Thanks in advance.

Check your owners manual. It should be listed there.

Go to Pep Boys parts counter, tell them you need a bulb for the front turn signal, they give you a manufacturer and part number of the replacement bulb (Sylvania 3157NALL/4157NALL), find it on the racks. It is less than $4 for 2 bulbs in the package. If you buy them from the Chevy dealer they will cost about 4 times that amount and will probably have to be ordered.

You can find the bulb even cheaper at Walmart. It is a sylvania bulb. And the easiest way to replace it is to take off the little area right under the car. I think there are 7-8 screws but if you are lying down you can reach in and take out the old bulb. By the way, the part number is 4157 . It took a total of 15 mins to change it out. This is the 1st part I have changed out that was cheap. lol

Default This site is awsome!

Have had my 99 since Feb...left front signal light just went out...asked at a couple retail shops how to access the bulb...no one knew how. Ahh, I thought...try Corvette Forum. In less than two minutes I found the answer. Thanks for your post!

And don't touch the new bulb with your bare hands/fingers. The oils will shorten bulb life.

1. Insert hand into brake duct

2. Push duct back and down.

3. Insert hand into hole and remove bulb

4. Insert new bulb.

5. Put brake duct back in alignment.

Took me 15 minutes the first time around, three time later is is a 2 minute job. Do be careful about the hand oils, two of mine were probably caused by touching the bulbs.....?
