I just purchased a lighting kit that included GM T-84 headlight housings. In my opinion, the housings that I received were of poor quality for the following reasons:
1. It appears that the headlight housings have been separated from the lenses, and that, upon reassembly, the lenses were sealed in a manner that left the excess sealant on the surface of the lenses.
2. One of the housings seems to have been cracked and "repaired" by using the aformentioned sealant.
3. The headlight housings were packaged so poorly that each of the six prongs, extending rearward from the light bulbs (three per side), were bent - one so severly that it has an s-curve in it.
Have those of you who have these headlights had these issues? Thanks in advance!
Sounds like you need you talk to whoever sold them to you. I've been rough with my lights, and haven't broken them. I suspect whoever sold them to you is trying to sell you used refurbished gear and trying to pass it off as new. Why don't you post pics so we can really see how bad the problem is?
