C5 more power please help

Dear all
i need your help

i have a frind ho has a 1997 C5 auto

and that is looking for more power 480RWHP
he is looking for a cam and head , headers,manefold , throtel body
the full monty of bolt ons

what pakege would you recomind for him on the car.

That is a tough number to meet without either a larger engine or adding forced induction.

If your friend can lower his expectations, say to 430 - 440 RWHP, then heads, cam, EWP, UD pulley, long tube headers,…essentially all the bolt-ons, will get him there.

In any case, he will need an upgraded transmission and higher stall torque converter.

do you hjave a packege in minde or some specefic items part numbers that he can go for ( any recomendations )

Dear ALL

please more help

i recomended for him the LS6 converson ( intake , C&C heads, and hot cam)
with a set of stanlless work long tube headers

what do you think ?????

I’m with Charlie, that RWHP mark would be hard to hit without FI (nitrous or supercharger). Look at A&A supercharger kit (around $5000) and run it at 5-6 pounds. It should result in a streetable package that is safe.

Oh, that would get you the RWHP your looking for and you have lots of room for future growth.

bot i need a good combo from you LS1 masters

he wants to beet my ZR-1 and that is y he is doing all this work
