While in Myrtle Beach last week I talked to a Vette owner and he had Borla Stingers on his car. My question is does Borla make this exhaust and what are the performance gains if any?

Yes, Borla makes them. Stinger is just a nickname and they come in 2 or 4 tip configs.
They are flow through in design, and not really a "muffler", so it does flow much better than the stock exhaust.
Performance: Borla claimed they were good for 12 hp, but I'd guess it is closer to half that.
To me, they sound great on an otherwise stock exhaust set-up. But, add long tube headers, off road x-pipe, and/or a cam and they are L O U D!!
This is all a matter of personal preference, but I grew up loving the loud rumble of a V8 and still do, but my set up was too much. I wound up trading my Borla 2 tip Stingers for the Z06 Titanium exhaust.

You bet they make them BUT!!! put them on for the looks and the sound, NOT!!!! the HP gain unless you put them mate them with a bunch of other mods.
I agree. A while back, Lingenfelter installed the Stingers on a turbocharged C5 and gained more than 30 HP over the stock cat-back. In other words, the higher the HP up front, the bigger the gains to the rear wheels if you install Stingers. I bought mine for the sound, but also to be assured that if I DO get a supercharger, my exhaust won't be the weak link in the system.
I just bought the quad rounds last week and they're awesome. I used a company called 21st Century Exhaust in Boynton Beach, FL. Best price that I could find anywhere $717.00
