Banish Brake Dust Covers
Has anyone used the covers that are called Kleen Wheels that is sold through Mid America? This is suppose to eliminate the brake dust by deflecting the flow of road soot so that it exits at the rear of the wheel instead of the front. If anyone has used it, does it work and any bad effects from it? Thanks

Better to wash the wheels more often. Brake dust is a way of life in Corvette. You could go to ceramic brake pads, but then your brakes wont work as well. Cearamic brake pads take 5% longer to stop your car.

Besides obscuring the nice brakes, and looking (imho) lame, they will also not allow cooling air into the brake area. You'd probably be fine for most driving but I'd say you'd get 1-2 hard stops out of it before you started to fade.
