Default Denso Oxygen Sensors

Has anyone tried the latest Denso Oxygen sensors? Ihave heard that they have a higher resistance to lead and silicone. Anyone know?

The Supra and Gn guys have been using them for quite awhile with a lot of success.

I pointed them out to some of the guys on Ls1tech, but haven't heard anything back on folks running them with race gas.

I just killed another 2 sensors so went ahead and ordered the Denso from sparkplugs.com. I'll may have to run straight race gas when I switch over to the alcohol nitrous kit.

Is this the part number you ordered? 234-4012

I guess you can order two of the same if you are replacing both fronts?

Aren't the front and rear plugs different?

Yeah, The fronts are 4-flat and the rears a 4-square. I'd be interested in the denso sensors myself. I'm killing a set of O2's about every 5-6k miles. Go figure.. They just don't like Meth.

I've been using the Denso's exclusively in all my customer's cars. I, too, order from Sparkplugs.com and get a price break when I order a dozen or more.
I have not run a lot of race gas against them, so I cant say how they'll hold up long term. I can say, however, that not a single one of them have gone haywire yet. I have these Denso's in about a dozen of my customers C5s, some pushing 600+ hp via s/c or nitrous, with rich tuning to keep things wet under boost/spray. A few run a race gas mix, too. All good so far

Nice... What part number are you order for the rears? LGM Long tubes relocate the rear O2 sensors to the front banks with an adaptor plug and they uncross the sides they plug in on. Ie. I need the 4-pin square socket plug a depicked above with the same length as the factory rear O2 sensors.

UPDATE: I just found them on the Sparkplugs.com website. Duh...

234-4617 That is a lot cheaper than the OEM price I paid the dealership. Man, I know where I'm buying my next set.. I'm glad I found this thread. Sweet!
Thanks
