If it's a "current" code and rated high enough on the safety scale of things, it may very well not clear (at least not by the DIC). Some codes can only be cleared using a scan tool or if the problem goes away and stays away for a certain number of drive cycles. Try checking you wheel speed sensor harness and connector on the R/R wheel. See if it's loose or disconnected. See if it looks damaged too. Try unplugging it and checking for any foreign material/dirt that may have gotten into the plug or any signs of water/moisture entry (corrosion for example). HTH
Took a look under r rear wheel and found problem. The two small spagehtti wires are severed from presumably the sensor? I must have ran over something? Can I just order sensor and rewire? Thanks
If the wires have severed you may just be able to solder them back together???
If they have severed to close to the plug to make soldering impractical then just take the plug to the dealership and tell them that you need a replacement, it will be a new plug with about 18 inches of wire.
Called fredbeans, was able to buy new speed sensor connector 20.90 shipped. The wires were sheared to close for rpr. Ok to just solder onto existing wires from hub? Thanks

Yep, it's ok
The last time I pulled my rear and tranny I forgot to disconnect the VSS connector and pulled both wires out of the back of the connector, $35.00 later and a little solder it was as good as new.

Glad you found the problem. I would also strongly recommend that you use a good length of shrink tubing over the repair if you have to do any soldering. Moisture/corrosion has a way of getting into things, especially components that are located under the car. HTH
