Predator tune problems
I am having a problem with 1st gear hitting the rev limiter after adding the predator performance tune. I set the shift point at 6000 rpm and the rev limiter at 6200 but the car goes right past the 6000 and hits the limiter. I tried adjusting it back to 5800 but it still goes to 6200. I even tried setting the mph shift point to around 54 mph but it goes right past it too. All other gears work perfectly and shifts dead on the money. The predator is new and there were no other programs run on this car. Any ideas?

I have a 315 gear. When I first got my predator I put the mph on 1st to 2nd at 50. At 6000 rpm shift mph is 42 on my car. It kept trying to hit 50mph. It didn't care what the rpm was set at. Went back to there tune and left mph set point alone. It shifts at 6000 in all gears. The book said that mph set points was for part throttle only. I have an 04.

I had new gears put in 3.42 on my auto vert. The dealer had a problem witht the diablo, so they called them. I then had to go to a dealer that diablo sent me to close by. The problem was actually caused by the vortex air system. Anyway, they quickly resolved it. But it sounds very similar to what you have. Give them a call for some tech support.
