Alternator voltage question
I just replaced the battery in my 02 C5 with an Optima red top because the original battery was only charging about 40%. Voltage was so low in the battery that the ABS and active handling failed to engage at startup. When I first installed the new battery the volts went up to about 14 for a while then dropped to about 13.7 after about 15 min and now it’s steady at about 13 or 13.2 while driving in the city. On the hyw at speed it eventually climes up to about 13.8 but drops back to 13.1 or 13.2 in the city. Is this normal

leaked.
