Default Defroster Control

All be aware. ther are two vacume lines that need to be replaced if you have a battery leak. Both are located inside the wiring harnesses (sp) below the battery. To repair the tubing used rubber hose and small fuel clamps. I cut back the wiring harness cover to expose the vacume lines. Be careful to cut the hose back enough to get all the contaminated areas. Then be sure to check the small tee (I think there is a check valve inside) located below the air canister. This is located on the passengers side fender wall. you can access this area by removing the access door behind the passenger front wheel. You have to remove the fender screws. Do not forget the three under the car and the one inside above the air canister. Hard to get to but once removed the fender moves to create enough room to access the canister and vacume lines with ease. Be sure to inspect the tee all vacume lines connect into. This was the final problem with mine. Final inspection revealed a small crack and the tee needed to be replaced. Once replaced success. Hope this helps. It took me three tries to find the problem.

good luck.
