Exhaust/Drag racing ?????

Exhaust/Drag racing ?????
I will be making a trip to my first 1/4 strip next weekend and curious if dropping my exhaust or at least part of it would be of any advantage? My current mods are in my sig and the exhaust is LGM long tubes, no cats and then B&B in the back. Will dropping at least the muffler portion of the exhaust show me any gains or will it be so minute that it won't be worth it? I also know about cut outs but just haven't done it yet but plan to in the future esp. if I will see some gains. Thanks in advance for any help, Bob

You may go a little faster, depends on what all you take off, but no more than a tenth. Won't help you win a drag race though. Cars in our classes bracket drag race so I don't really see the point of going to all that work.

Just wanting to go as fast as poss., not in any class at all. The dragrace is actually a vette club event and just want to see what I can get outta the car before I get booted from the 1/4 like I did the 1/8. So you think maybe pick up a tenth?
