installing new front bumper, any tips?
installing a new front bumper on my c5 tommorow. any tips? anybody know of any tech pages showing it being done? is it easy, hard? and how tough is it to take the old bumper off? ANYYYYYYYYYY help at all is greatly appreciated. thanks
also, if youve done this, how long did the process take? thanks

It will probably take a few hours. You have the bolts across the top/front, the bolts connecting it to the fenders, and some screws across the bottom. Obviously, the close-out panels and spoilers underneath need to come off, and the headlights tend to get in the way. Basically, after all of the fasteners are loose, you pick the front up over the metal bracket, and pull it forward.
While it is off, you should get your build sheet from inside of the front bumper bar.

Ill chime in on this one, when removing the front bumper, be careful not to snag the wiring harness on the pass side about where the right skid bar is. Then, after removing the 2 10 mm nuts that attach the bumper to the fender, use caution as the studs that protrude out may scratch the bumper cover.
