Wolfe convertible rollbars?
Anyone have a wolfe convertible rollbar installed?
I'm considering the $265 five-point rollbar so I can run on the dragstrip: http://www.wolferacecraft.com/detail.aspx?ID=789
It looks kinda close to the drivers head.

How close is your head to the bar? I'm 5' 10", so my seat isn't all the way back. But I don't want my (or someone elses') skull bouncing off the steel tube if someone whacks into me on the street.

My head is not very close to the bar, it looks much worse in the picture than it actually is. The problem I have run into is that the side of each seat rubs the bar and ends up putting a hole in them. I checked with the top up and they could have made the bar about 1/4" wider and it would have cleared the top and the seat. Other than that quirk I have been very happy with it. I actually had cross bars added to make it SCCA legal.
