Thermostat Replacement?
Can anyone tell me the location of the thermostat on the LS1 in my '97 Corvette.
I want to install a 160 degree. Only MODS I have is a BBK CAI, hi-flow cats, X-pipe and ZO6 Ti exhaust.
Want to the microtuner superchip program.
Any thoughts on this combination?

Ok check out the picture from my site in the link below.
There are two hoses going into the waterpump.
See the one on the bottom left of the picture?
That is connected to directly to the thermostat housing.
Remove that hose, those two 10mm bolts, and there is your thermostat.

Make sure you piece that link back together into one line if it linefeeds.
