4:10 Questions
I know I've read the following questions before I had 4:10's but can't remember. Tried the search and no luck.
1. When on a dyno is it still done in 4th gear-I know the 3:42 it's 1:1
2. What does this reduce your top speed too on lightly modded coupe
3. Whats the avg reduction in hp on a dyno that 4:10's will show due to the way they read hp, seems like I remember 5 or 10.
#2 is the one most people ask when I tell them about putting the gears in. I'll be getting a dyno tune after the install of my Lg lt's and was curious with the other 2 questions. I had a baseline dyno done and that was with the 3:42's. Trying to figure out hp gain since I changed gears. Thanks

fourth gear will still give the best dyno readings, probably be down 10 hp from baseline with 3.42's. Your top speed will probably be down to mid 150's now, depends on how high you are willing to rev it. At 6500, stock tires you could do 170, but that's a lot of rev's.
