Default LED Taillights

I'm thinking about purchasing Altezza LED taillights for my C5, I like the look. Installation is suppose to be simple, anyone have them? likes-dislikes? any problems? Thanks,HEB

Here was a thread from this past week on them:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...d&forum_id=103
(was in the general section)
I liked them enough that I just won a new set of chrome ones for my Z on eBay. Pro Car Parts (www.procarparts.com) was the seller. They have a number of them on there. Do a search on eBay for Corvette L.E.D. and you will find them. I got them for $299.99, instead of $439.99 (their normal price). Nobody bid on them but me. I saw an ad of theirs in the Corvette Magazine (Sept 2005) and they show a 3rd brake light (97-04 Euro Clear L.E.D. Rear Third Brake Light). It matches the Altezza LED lights. No price on it, but I emailed them to find out more about it. I will post their reply.

Great thing about our cars...each one is as individual as the owners.

I just installed the Altezza lights on my Z. I have not had the chance to take pictures. Installation is easy!! If you can change a tail light bulb, you can install these. Remove the tail light, pull out the bulb, plug the Altezza light in, screw Altezza light back on in place of factory one. Easy!! I like the looks! I will post pictures this weekend...when I get my Z back from having my new rims mounted.

I remember the story. The article featured LED lights made by Adjure, Inc.

I like how LED's achieve full brightness more quickly than incandescant bulbs, which makes them safer, but they have a small axis in which they put out light, so unless the person behind you is pretty much looking at the brake light from straight behind, the LED lights are less safe.

As far as looks.....it's your car...
