Belt issue

Ok My 99 is making a weird horrible noise. So I looked and the belt is about to come off the crank pulley. I replaced the belts several months ago and was doing fine until today. The Idle tensioner pulley ( on the passanger side of the motor) is on the bar closest to the intake. Is it suppose to be further away from the intake? Do you think the pulley is bad, only have 58,000 miles? Please help me on this. Thank You

had to replace my tensioner at 35k on my '00 a4 coupe...could very well be the tensioner...noticed before i replaced it that it seemed to be fairly easy to move against the spring by hand....

Same here I had to replace mine @ about 50K. New Tensioner and new belt no wobble or slippage now, just alternator whine.
