I have been getting a rather unpleasant sulfer type smell, which seems to occur after the car is warm, at either idle or just after it is turned off. No codes thrown. I have been using top tier gas , Chevron or Shell(91 octane in Cal.). Any ideas ?

Sulpher smell is what a cat will smell like when it is hot and doing it's job of trying to burn excess fuel. Your car is proably running a bit rich (like most) and that is why you smell it. Excessive heat in the cat will give it a shorter life but IMHO if you smell sulpher the cat is fine. You might look into having a tuner work on you AFR to lower it.
This can also happen when you buy gasoline with too much sulfur in it.
I had this happen to me 3 years ago after I went to a station I never go to. The problem has not happened since.
