Default Need Help On A 2000 Model

A friend of mine is having a problem with his signal lights. They work intermittently. There are times when they work perfectly, and then the next time they may not work at all. Could it be the flasher? Anyone had this problem, or have any suggestions on a solution? Thanks all...

It is the flasher. My 2000 does the same thing.Hit the flasher a few times and it should clear it up for awhile.

Got the extended warranty? Let GM replace it.

No? Be careful removing dash (sure way of getting to the switch) or from the outside (involves punching out the old one- seems risky when I read the instructions.)

HECK NO, you don't hope it's the flasher! They are not cheap, nor an easy install. Actually I need to replace mine also. I wonder who has the best price?
