Default Dynatech SuperMAXX Headers + GHL Bullets.....WOW!!

First of all let me thank Big John from Winston Salem and Todd (USARMYTTT) from Greensboro, NC helping me with the install on my 99 Coupe. Certainly couldn't of done it without you guys. Huge improvement in horsepower and torque and the sound is unbelieveable. I would certainly recommend this setup to anyone considerring a complete exhaust system. ALL stainless steel from the headers to the exhaust tips. Headers went in without any major problems, little time consuming, just make sure you have all the O2 wires and clutch cable out of the way. Helps to have one person helpng out from the top and another underneath the car making sure all obstacles are clear. Make sure after the headers are in place to zip tie all O2 wires clear of the header pipes, this is where we spent some extra time but well worth it IMO not to have to worry about burnt O2 wires down the road. Did the install this past Saturday and so far no codes. Plan on getting it dyno-tuned later this month by Carolina Auto Masters in Durham, NC. Thanks to CorvetteGarage for a great price on the Dynatech Header package. Everything is included with the Dynatech's, awesome setup from these guys, 32 inch stainless steel long tube headers, high-flow cats, and X-pipe with all accessories included. Also installed MSD 8.5 plug wires and NGK-TR55's.

Thanks to everyone on the Corvette Forum, have been a memeber for about 5 months and did a lot reading on here before I purchased any of the above. This place is addictive and has helped put a bottomless pit from my bank account directly to the vette. But I'm having a blast and no regrets so far

I have the same setup with a heads and cam package. The sound is not for the faint of heart...it is absolutely fantastic!

I am thinking of using the exact same exhaust system on my 99. Just curiuos! Does the headers drop in from the top, or do you install from the bottom? I have Rhino car ramps, is that going to be high enough to install the exhaust?

Driver's side header goes in from the bottom and the passenger side header goes in from the top. Rhino ramps wouldn't be near high enough to get the driver side header in. Fortunately I did mine on a lift, I believe you would need 30-36 inches clearance on jack stands. Good Luck

Glad you are happy with it. Get ready to spend even more money on gas. Only because you will NOT be able to stay off the pedal.

Congrats on the Mods and Power, especially Torque! Dynatech's are a very nice header system!
