Has anyone had issues with trying to keep key fob's working properly? I replaced batteries, matched to car, set up appropriately, and then later when I go to lock unlock car, no action? Am I missing something?
Take a look at your DTC codes that are stored in your DIC. I be willing to bet you a cold one that you have a TON of U-1000 series codes. That normaly indicates that your 12 VDC battery is weak and the reserve capacity inst there! When you crank the car the starter draws 200-300 amps and the voltage drops too low for the modules to function. This causes the sequence code to get wiped out in the BCM and RFA.
Read the codes and post what you find here. After you post them, clear all of them and monitor the DTC codes after you start the car!
Also open up the fob and look at the upper right component. there have been a few members with this component cracking the 2 lower solder joints. If you resolder these it should work great again. I had this exact problem and once I resoldered I haven't had an issue.
