Steering wheel driver seat electrical issues
Seems Im having some issues on my 99 coupe. I have been redoing the car after getting it from a boched job at a dealership. So keep in mind I have yet to title and drive this car. Since this is my first C5 in still learning how all works. Ok now the problem. The telescoping steering wheel button on the side of the column doesnt do a think no movement at all. I replaced the drivers side electric seat switch thinking it was bad but the new one acts the same way. I push back on the large button and the seat moves back a inch and stops it does this all the way to the back. I can push forward and it moves forward all the way. Also going back somethimes the seat titls up and does not move back. push the button straight dont sometimes the steering wheel moves in sometimes the seat tilts. There is nothin smooth about these buttons at all. You have to mess with them a ton just to get the seat almost where you want it. Also the memmory buttons on the boor do not hold the memmory. You hold the button down the light comes on and flashes. Mess the seat up and hit the mem button to redo it and it may tilt the seat or move it a little but does not put it back where it was. Sorry so long but does anyone have a Idea?

Oh the boched job at the dealership was they replaced the motor on a insurance job took 6 months and 2 dealerships to figure out they couldnt get the new motor to run. It would run about 10sec then die. I post it on here Bill figures it out immediately! 
Bill is the man! (That was a ground wire for the controlers on a painted surface.) So the insurance co junked the car since the guy got a lawyer and so I ended up with it. Not a bad deal for me 99 pewter coupe with 58k on the car and a new motor.
