ABS going off and on? Serious problem for me, Help!

ABS going off and on? Serious problem for me, Help!
I've got a 97 6spd and the ABS lights will go off and on periodically, especially when it's cold. About 70to 80% of the time it will go off after it reaches full operating temperature. It's not good enough as I pretty much just track the car and when the ABS lights are on I get brake lock up, not with all tires, just one at a time which causes instant flat spots, which means ruined tires. Getting expensive. Any help out there? Chuck,
