did a little searching gonna try a few different thing. guess ill get the CLB kitt but didnt think i needed it cause gm fixed it. bull. if not this will be the second time the car gets towed from work thats if i can get the car out of the garage with the wheel locked in the straight position
it popped loose. hopefully i drive the car home without it locking up on the highway and i ordered the clb from thuderracing
I would also recommend you remove the lockplate and install the smaller plate that GM uses on the automatics. The Harness K kit has the relay harness that serves the same function as the CLB, and includes the smaller plate. That way, there is no chance the column can ever lock again. If the relay fails, which will cause the fuel to be shutoff by the BCM, you may have to replace the relay, but at least you are not having to try to get the column to unlock.
