Bedding new Pads!!
Last time I did this it was according to the Baer website and was a very LONG process. The rotors are NOT new.
What is the shortest/simplist yet effective proceedure.
Also does it matter what type pads you have??

my break in technique=60-0 about 10 times, let it cool and do it again
thats a hell of a lot more break-in than any other car ive done brakes on has ever gotten, so i dont see why you'd need something more extensive for a typical brake pad job.

I followed the advice for my StopFORCE rotors (see paragraph 5), though I think the procedure applies equally to any brand.

Just upgraded to Kevlar pads on my girlfriend's Mercedes, and they recommended starting at 30-0 for 6 times, with about 60 second to cool, and them 50-0 for 6 times with 60 seconds to cool.
I got the Kevlar because I wanted very low dust. Also, just went to GM Performance ceramic pads on my C-5, and did the same breakin.

This is what BAER recommends:
Perform four-repeated light to medium stops, from 65 to 10 mph, to bring the rotors to
temperature.
Perform two heavy stops, back to back, at a point just pending wheel lock, from 65 mph
to about 5 mph.
Drive for five to ten minutes to create cooling airflow, without using the brakes if at all
possible.
Perform three light stops in succession.
Perform eight heavy stops, back to back, at a point just pending wheel lock, from 65 mph
to about 5 mph.
Drive for ten minutes to create cooling airflow, without using the brakes if at all possible.
