Default Noise when shifting from drive to reverse
I have a noise when shifting from drive to reverse. I thought it may be a U-joint however when I looked in the manual, it appears to have a solid shaft without and u-joints from the motor to the transmission. Could this be a rear CV joint going out? I have had it up on a hoist trying move the rear wheels back and forth and there seems to be no play or any noise.
Any ideas?

It could be the axle splines. The axle nuts may need to be retorqued. Mine makes a click once in awhile. Jimmy

Describe the noise. Otherwise you may not have the clutch all the way in during the shift.
