new cam

ok heres what i got 2001 a4 3:15 rear with borla stingers and vararam with predator tune
im looking for a cam that would compliment this setup
heres the catch i dont want to do a stall or new springs or even dyno tune
do any even exist with these characteristics and if so how much gain can be realized from such also include specs

If you are not willing to change the springs, then stick with the stock cam. The springs weaken with time so more cam will only make this very obvious.

The best thing that you can do is install Z06 springs and keep the cam at or below Z06 specs but tighten up the LSA or put some more duruation into it.This will keep your car maintenance free and change your powerband and add a few horses e.g .550 lift,114 Lsa 224 dur.@.050.Call comp cams and someone there will be able to grind you something custom or try thunder racing or futural cams.JER

224/224 555/555 on 114 Lsa would work but you still need to upgrade springs.

A stall would gain you more performance wise, any cam is going to require stronger springs and most likely a professional tune. I have nothing against the handhelds, I love my Hypertech for what it is, but i also know I'm leaving 10 hp untapped...

spring upgrade is a MUST stock springs are crap. Get some comp 918's for like $175. They are a drop in spring.

I say a 224 cam... something in that range.
