Default Will an x pipe make a difference?

I just put on a Corsa cat back. I have the stock h pipe and am looking into a x pipe. Will this make any difference in sound and performance?
thanks

Performance = NO
Sound = Yes, it will stop the poping noise if you have it. It changes the tone a little bit, IMHO.

The X-pipe will give you a lil more low end torque but smoothed out my Corsa Touring so much I went to the Pace Car muffs instead. Even then it was too mild so I had ECS install TPIS headers and now quite happy with the sound.

It will mostly reduce, but not necessarily eliminate, decel popping and gurgling. Personally, I liked the popping and gurgling but I installed an x-pipe to get rid of the metallic "jingling" sound (occurs when revving or shutting the engine off) I got when my GHLs were installed.

On my 04 with GHL Bullets, the GHL x-pipe greatly reduced the popping on decel. It now kind of gurgles like I remember the stock system doing. My x-pipe definitely changed the tone of my exhaust. If I were to try and describe the difference I would say that with the x-pipe it is now more refined, less raw, but still deep and awesome sounding. I only wish I had put the x-pipe on sooner.

When I had my Corsa Indy's installed by a vette specialist, he said with the Corsa no popping will happen, so he advised me not to buy the x pipe. I did not buy it, and NO popping noise at all on my 03'. I asked him how much extra HP would I gain with it, and he said no more than 10 at best, and most likely I would not even notice it. I have no plans for headers on my vert.

Yes in sound, not in performance. I like how the sound is alot smoother and more refined with the X pipe then without. I'd recommend it, even with the OEM mufflers.
