bilstein sport rubber squeek.
after exhaustive inspection, ive finally figured out that annoying squeeking sound that's coming from my passenger side rear wheel over every minor bump in the road. at first, the forum had suggested the possibility of a sway bar rust squeek. checked it and the coating is still on there 100%. found the culprit: turns out that the two rubber bumpstops on the bilstein sport shock (the two that "surround" the upper shock mount plate) are for one reason or the other, either rubbing on each other or the plate. anybody else with this symptom? my solution will probably be to grease/lubricate those up, as well as the shock mount plate. is there a particular kind of grease that is meant for these rubber components but will also stand the elements? dont feel like spending 45 mins every week dismantling the shock and greasing. thnx.

I had the same squeak issue. It was the rubber bushings on the sway bar. Pull them off, lube them with grease and it will go away. I doubt it is the shock making the noise, even though it sounds like it.
