Quick A4 Question regarding oil lines...
On an A4, which line is the Return oil line from the Radiator - the Top or Bottom oil line????

Actually this for some reason has been a heated debate in the past. I do not know from personal experience, and the last thread I read about it had people disagreeing about this. So EG, I don't know.

it is the top back to the trans. i installed mine INLINE with the stocker and dropped 40 degrees with a small cooler. Good luck!

I too can confirm that the top line at the rad "is the return line!"
You`ll be glad you installed one, cheap insurance.
