X Pipe questions
I am looking to get an exhaust system and X pipe for a 2001 Coupe. Are all X pipes basically the same or are some better than others? Do you need to match brands IE you need a Corsa X pipe for a corsa cat back or a Borla for a Borla?

No, you don't have to match brands. I have B+B mufflers w/ a Bassini X pipe. There are any number of different combinations you can use.
Can't tell you which X pipe is best. I have a Bassini X and I'm pleased w/ it. Good luck w/ your search....

The Bassani and Magnaflow are both true X-pipes (and there are probably others) some "X-pipes" merely join the two pipes with a large open space in the side of both pipes. These won't take full advantage of the scavaging effect of the alternating pulses through an actual X.
