Datalogging At The Track
I have a Predator that I use as a scan tool but it does not have a record function plus my car is getting too fast to look at a Predator display while traveling down the quarter mile. Are there any cheaper datalogging solutions that plug into the ODBII port record engine parameters like spark advance, Knock retard, rpm, etc. that do not require a laptop to be present in the car. I would like to hit a button run down the track and then playback the data on my PC when I return home. Any ideas ?

I use Auto Enginuity, works very well and has data logging and dyno sim. $100 on e-bay and works on all OBD-II cars

You need the laptop to record the info.
